29 Grey/Beige/Brown Cap in "Sierra Andina" yarn with jacquard pattern and beige tassel
250 g. Sierra Andina yarn: 50 g. for each of the following colours: Light Grey No. 35, White/Black No. 38, Beige No. 30, Brown/White No. 42, Beige/White No. 40. Knitting needles Nos. 3 and 31/2. Tapestry Needle with rounded tip.
CIRCUMFERENCE: 49 cm

Jacquard pattern (follow chart)
10 x 10 cm. with knitting needles No. 41/2 work in knitted st. = 24 sts. and 36 rows
Back: Cast on 90 sts. with knitting needles No. 4 and with the white/black yarn work 2 rows in elastic rib and 8 rows in ribbed st. 1/1, equivalent to 3 cm. Cont. with the jacquard pattern alternating the stitches and the colours as shown on the chart; at the same time, at the sides dec. 1 st. every 18 rows once., 1 st. every 12 rows 3 times. Once you have completed the chart, cont. over all the sts. with the light grey in garter sts. working in the following dec.: 6 sts. every 6 rows 6 times, 6 sts. every 2 rows 9 times; distribute, the first time, 1 dec. every 18 sts. and work in the next dec. in line with the prev. When work measures 34 cm. from the cable, equivalent to 123 rows, pass the yarn through the remaining 20 sts., pull to draw the stitches together, bind and break off the yarn on the back of the work.
MAKING UP AND FINISH
Sew the sides of the cap. With the beige yarn make the tassel as follows: Cut about one hundred 18 cm. threads, group them and stop at the centre with close stitches. Sew the tassel on the top of the cap.
